Bone Yard of Brass (BYOB) is a New Orleans-style brass band with a twist. No trumpets. No saxophones. Just a wall of trombones, a helicon, and drums. We are based out of Huntsville, Alabama while also performing regionally and internationally. BYOB has the soul of a second line band. But, we blend funk, rock, jazz, latin, and pop in a way that creates our own unique style.
We are not your typical brass band. We have built everything around the low brass and rhythm concept. So, we have a huge, and slightly unhinged, sound when we need it.
So, you have a parade, house party, music festivals, a bris, silent meditation retreat, or any situation really…then we are the band for you! Because honestly… what says “party” better than a whole gang of trombones? BYOB is the party band for Huntsville!
